HR administrators will act as a liaison to employees and external partners for all HR related matters. As a priority, HR administrators will handle the majority of employee documentation, HRIS questions, benefit questions, pre-employment background screenings and new hire paperwork.

A good understanding and knowledge of employment law and ensuring the HR department conforms to these is key. Assisting with any other administrative tasks as and when they arise may be necessary.

Job Responsibilities


  • Organizing and maintaining personnel records, entering new hire data, and updating any previous employees' data.

  • Manage and run the HRIS software of the Bob's.

  • Knowledge of company policies and legal compliance.

  • Communicating with external partners.

  • Create regular presentations and reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates, retention rates, and more.

  • Being the first point of contact for employees on any HR related questions.

  • Helping with employee relations events.

  • Assist recruiters, talent acquisition teams, and other HR staff with activities, such as onboarding of new recruits and performing background screenings.

  • Take an active part in HR projects, such as job fairs, recruitments rounds, and more.

  • Assist the Human Resources Generalist / Human Resources Manager as necessary.

Competencies

  • Proven experience with HR software, such as HRIS or HRMS.

  • Working knowledge of basic computer programs, such as MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, among others.

  • Excellent knowledge of labor laws and compliance standards, such as the FMLA.

  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritize certain tasks and projects appropriately.

  • Great communication skills, along with complete knowledge of how to communicate through phone, email, internal memos, and more.

  • Complete knowledge of job boards, HR processes, and recordkeeping.

  • Ability to work as a team member, assisting other HR personnel with their tasks.

  • Great problem-solving and analytical skills to manage daily administrative tasks.

Work Environment

  • Primarily based out of the location on a daily basis. Has the ability to work remotely if necessary.

Physical Demands

  • This is a position in an office setting. Will occasionally have to walk the location once or twice on a daily basis. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.

Expected Hours of Work and Travel

  • Typically M-F from 9am-5pm with the expectancy of working one later day each week.

  • No other travel required

Required Education and Experience

  • 1-2 years of work experience as an HR administrator, HR administrative assistant, or in any related jobs.

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Education and Experience

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or in a related field where the candidate has majored in HR.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

  • Certification in HR i.e. SPHR, SHRM-SCP ,PHR, APHR,SHRM-CP
