What You Will Do

As the frontline representative for Human Resources inquiries, the HR Services Advisor plays a crucial role in providing high-quality assistance to internal and external customers across North America. They handle a diverse range of inquiries, from basic policy questions to complex HR issues, ensuring timely and accurate responses while upholding professionalism and efficiency. Utilizing various communication channels and case management software, they manage inquiries, escalate complex issues, and guide individuals towards self-service options. Additionally, they process HR transactions, contribute to process improvements, and maintain updated documentation to support seamless HR service delivery. Responsibilities include:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR inquiries from employees, managers, and external parties
  • Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries via web, email, telephone, fax, and video
  • Utilize case management software to log and track inquiries, ensuring timely resolution or escalation
  • Guide individuals towards self-service options to enhance efficiency and user experience
  • Process HR transactions in Workday HCM system, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and coordinate their implementation
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and job aids for HR processes
  • Execute end-to-end HR services including onboarding, off-boarding, and benefits administration
  • Participate in team cross-training activities to ensure consistent execution of HR processes
What You Will Bring
  • Required: Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred)
  • Human Resources certificate(s)
  • 2+ years' customer service experience (preferably in HR or shared services)
  • 6 months HCM/ERP data entry (preferably Workday)
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
  • Strong telephone communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Maintains confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Efficient multitasking abilities
  • Collaborative approach with HR teams
  • Empathy and calmness in stressful situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Effective organization and prioritization
  • Flexibility in a changing work environment
  • Basic project management skills
