Our client located in Lombard seeks a temporary-to-full time Recruiter

Position Summary

Recruiter will partner with leadership and the human resources team to build and manage the talent acquisition function for the organization. Work involves establishing a recruitment plan and strategy to attract and retain highly qualified talent. The position is also responsible for developing recruitment and selection policies and procedures that are efficient and legally compliant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

* Work closely with operational leaders to identify workforce needs and develop recruitment strategies based on data, trends, and the market.
* Oversee and manage the full life cycle recruiting process from sourcing to hire and participate in recruiting tasks as needed.
* Source and select recruiting partners (RPO, staffing firms, executive search, etc.) to assist in building a pipeline of qualified talent.
* Lead and participate in outreach activities such as attending job fairs, networking, and growing partnerships with local schools.

* Evaluate recruitment systems and tools currently in place and make recommendations on new systems and/or upgrades. Lead the implementation of new systems as needed.
* Develop recruiting best practices focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI).

Education and Experience: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

* A bachelor's degree in human resource management, business, or a related field.
* 2+ years of processes and planning and execution of talent acquisition strategies.
* Human Resources and/or Talent Acquisition Certification preferred. Solid knowledge of relevant legal regulations (EEO, I‐9, etc.)
* Proficient with MS Office Suite, recruiting and HRIS systems.
* Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies
* and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
* Demonstrated ability to understand and determine priorities, effectively manage time, and develop work plans to accomplish tasks and/or projects
* Ability to analyze data and make process improvement recommendations Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Relationship management and customer service skills
* Demonstrated ability to consistently communicate a clear understanding of internal and external customer expectations and adapt as appropriate to exceed their needs
* Proven ability to clearly organize and effectively convey information Ability to function well in a high‐paced environment
* Sound decision making skills
