We are currently partnered with a local company located on the west side of Portland. Due to growth they are looking for an HR Admin/Recruiter to join their team! The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years experience in a recruiting role, and open to learning new skills, building relationships with various local organizations, and taking the lead on job fair participation. This is an excellent opportunity for a recruiter who is looking to learn from a knowledgeable leader, and gain experience in the realm of Human Resources and Recruiting.

Job Title: HR Admin/Recruiting Coordinator

Location: Tigard

Pay: $25-$26/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the recruiting process by posting open positions, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, performing background checks and pre-employment testing, and communicating with applicants throughout the process.
• Assist with the on-boarding of new hires, coordinate new hire orientations and collection of required employment documents.
• Partner with department managers to identify needs and create quality job descriptions.
• Build relationships with outside resources to help support the souring of quality candidates.
• Organize, maintain, and update employee information in multiple systems.
• Assist with compliance and annual reporting by pulling reports and ensuring the data is accurate.
• Assist HR manager with all other tasks as needed.

Required

• 1-2 years of experience providing HR Admin support.
• 1-2 years of recruiting experience, managing recruitment efforts.
• Strong writing and grammar skills.
• Experience in creating and posting job ads.
• Previous experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Basic knowledge of labor laws.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
