What You'll Do:

Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians Level A are responsible for training and coaching less qualified technicians by assuming training and coaching responsibility for a group of approximately four (4) technicians Heavy Duty Diesel Technicians Level A are responsible for diagnosing truck problems and performing truck repairs. Technicians create repair plans and fill out parts requisitions for needed parts. They are also responsible for tagging all warranty parts that are replaced and for turning in parts with core value. Technicians must also communicate updates to their Foreman daily and must maintain toolboxes organized and workstations clean and safe.

Job Skills & Duties:

• Proficient on all vehicle component repairs
• Able to diagnose all vehicle component failures
• Competent in root cause failure analysis
• Vibration analysis
• Aftertreatment repairs
• Aftertreatment diagnostics

Training and Certification Requirements:

• Technicians with six (6) plus years' experience.
• Performs at 100% efficiency or better.
• Mechanical aptitude. Positive attitude.
• Motivated
• Freightliner Heavy Duty Trucks Systems
• Freightliner Electrical Troubleshooting
• Specialist Certification
• Professional Certification
• Freightliner Electronic Systems Specialist Certification
• Class B CDL · ASE Test Passed
• Provides training, coaching and guidance to less experienced technicians

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to pass post offer drug test, physical and lift.

Compensation:

• $40-$50/hourly depending on experience
