Under the leadership of the BU Director of Finance, the Global FP&A Manager - Manufacturing will forge strong business partnerships and provide financial analysis/decision support to ensure profitable growth and improve financial performance.

You Will Have the Opportunity to:

  • Collect and consolidate financial submissions from the other Precision Optics sites
  • Analyze and bridge forecast to actual results, explain results to leadership team & GMs and help ensure accuracy of month-end close as part of internal controls
  • Update monthly and quarterly financial reporting including various volume, revenue and P&L reporting
  • Partner with commercial teams to ensure profitable growth through analysis and decision support to drive margin improvement. Perform sales and gross margin analysis to proactively identify recommendations to enhance margin performance (price increase, cost reduction, mix management)
  • Manage monthly TLP process and quarterly sales incentive reporting and payouts
  • Act as a liaison to corporate FP&A and support initiatives for finance transformation
  • Act as BU Finance "Systems Expert" for Excel/BI Tools creation & automation and utilization of OneStream reporting. Key resource in the successful implementation of a BI system
  • Lead special projects such as business development support, customer specific analysis, division or regional analysis and requests as assigned. Support ad hoc projects or business requests
  • Proponent of continuous process improvement and implementation of consistent toolkits to drive efficiency and effectiveness

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree with specialization in accounting or finance required, bachelor degree plus master's degree with specialization in accounting or finance preferred
  • Minimum of seven years of experience in the accounting field, holding roles with increasing responsibility and scope
  • Progressive experience in a commercial FP&A role preferred
  • Understanding of product costing preferred
  • Advance knowledge of business intelligence systems, relational databases, and front-end querying tools
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Access, and PowerPoint

This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Non-US citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
