Slalom Emerge is seeking an AI/ML Specialist - Life Sciences to join the Global AI Team. You will help evangelize cutting-edge solutions for our most important Life Sciences industry customers working with and across market teams and partners. You have in-depth knowledge of industry applications for AI/ML in the Life Sciences industry across R&D, Commercial, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions. You also have hands-on expertise with leading technologies for building applications powered by machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, or natural language processing. You understand and can help guide customers through industry transformation driven by real-world evidence, precision medicine, smart medical devices, cell and gene therapy, etc that are enabled by AI/ML technologies. You can tell stories about how use cases connect to business outcomes and how to work with stakeholders to support adoption. You blend expertise with empathy, teamwork, and mentoring to build lasting relationships resulting in successful initiatives. The team is globally distributed but the role may include 50% travel to customers and markets (once travel can resume safely).

What You'll Do

• Serve as a leading AI/ML expert in the Life Sciences industry for customers, partners, and markets

• Help plan, build, and launch our Life Sciences industry point of view, offerings, and campaigns together with industry leadership, markets, partners, and cross-functional teams that support rapid growth

• Help discover, define, propose, and secure commitment from customers to adopt and benefit from AI offerings working together with customer relationship leads, sales executives, and data and analytics practitioners

• Support customer engagements including AI/ML strategy, architecture, and delivery oversight

• Conduct planning and enablement workshops for customers and markets to proactively support adoption of AI/ML solutions

• Establish, support, and participate in communities at the firm and beyond

• Continuously evangelize innovation in AI technology and its industry applications

What You'll Bring

• 6+ years serving the Life Sciences industry with data, analytics, and AI in a highly customer- and partner-facing capacity across a range of functional experiences

• Experience creating and communicating industry points of view and offerings

• Excellent planning, solutioning, and presentation skills

• Fluent with value drivers, use cases, and solutions in the Life Sciences industry

• Hands on experience with relevant cloud, data, and AI/ML technologies and processes

• Consulting experience preferred
