The Operations and Business Support Manager will be responsible for department business operations and support of executive leadership meetings in Global Aftersales Engineering and Service Operations (GAESO). Assignments are of a complex nature, involving a significant degree of cooperative work with other functional areas of the business. A high level of initiative, accuracy, creativity, and sense of urgency must be applied to work assignments. Knowledge of Customer Care and Aftersales and Global Product Development business processes, systems, and data is required to facilitate business decision making.

Major Duties & Responsibilities include:

  • Lead all elements of Global Aftersales Engineering and Service Operations leadership meeting forums (GAELT, GAESO Staff, All Leader Meetings, All People Meetings, Face2Face). Includes establishing meeting architecture, setting agendas, facilitating meetings (including use of Telepresence and other collaborative tools), and collecting/ following up on action items
  • Lead Strategic Initiatives, Workplace of Choice, and organizational objectives for GAESO
  • Lead special projects and studies from the Executive Director
  • Develop and maintain multi-year Business strategy
  • Handle the GAESO IT portfolio/business planning and ongoing tracking process
  • Prepare and provide Executive Director with executive meeting content (such as Functional Reviews, BPR, President/VP Reviews, SWOT Analysis, Action Items). Ensure all information presented is clear, concise, accurate, timely and visually appealing.
  • Coordination of global budget development and monthly tracking with Finance
  • Global headcount tracking and reporting with Finance
  • Coordinate department response to customer satisfaction surveys (NADA, Carlisle, DFOAB)
  • Support global process harmonization with the regions
  • Lead GAESO facilities and facility improvement projects
  • Lead CCA Safety Review Board
  • Lead Operations and Business Support team

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Aftersales Engineering and Service Operations and Vehicle Product Development results & activities
  • Skilled at working effectively with others at all levels of the organization and across global regions
  • Enjoy working in environment of ambiguity
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and as a member of a team
  • Proven capability in managing a variety of responsibilities simultaneously
  • Quantitative and analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated accountability for results
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient in presentation development and the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Occasional travel is required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Automotive Technology
  • OpEx, GoFast! And/or GMS mentor/coordinator
  • SharePoint, Teams, Telepresence experience
