Kforce has a client in search of a Fund Accountant in Crofton, MD.Duties:
Assist with compiling schedules related to the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements, including footnotes and ensures compliance with Generally
Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Assist with quarterly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss review and reconciliation
Review and reconcile general ledger accounts
Create and maintain audit supporting schedules throughout the year
Assist with the preparation of year-end tax return schedules
Reconcile bank accounts monthly; verify deposits and payments
Record recurring journal entries monthly
Monitor daily cash balances at each Fund's feeder entities
Assist with investor reporting requirements and ad hoc reports on an as-needed basis
Create and maintain asset level supporting schedules
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
0-2 years of experience in Accounting
CPA or Pending CPA is preferred
