SUMMARY: This job is responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards set by FSQA Policy, USDA and Customer Specifications. Likewise, this position involves managing a Team of FSQA Techs in their daily performance in upholding these standards, prompt and correct record keeping and monitoring the production process. This position involves communication with both Operations Management and USDA officials.

Other responsibilities include training and daily coaching with FSQA Team Member on Safety, Policy compliance and record keeping. Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities evaluating results coordinating with others. This position is responsible for Food Safety, Quality and Integrity of the product and adherence with all legal criteria involving the production of food products.


Education: High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor s degree preferred.

Experience: 2 plus years in a food manufacturing environment. Production of soups sauces or toppings preferred. Prior supervisory experience preferred. HACCP certified preferred as a broad knowledge of HACCP, USDA, Good Manufacturing Practices, and SSOP.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills for creating simple queries spreadsheets etc.

Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills verbal and written; bilingual a plus.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a small group of personnel.
