As the Junior Frontend Developer, you will be responsible for helping us continue to produce top-tier applications.
Job Description

We are looking for a Junior Frontend Developerto write clean, maintainable, and efficient ReactJS code for new and existing applications. This will be full time and remote.

What You'll Do

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient ReactJS code for new and existing applications
  • Collaborate closely with the design team to implement custom components and translate design frameworks into code
  • Assist in the development and refinement of user interface components using React concepts
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain a high standard of code quality and encourage a culture of collaboration
  • Continuously learn and stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices
  • Work with project managers and other team members to understand requirements and provide technical solutions
  • Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance
  • Contribute to the development of documentation for code and design features

What You'll Need

Required:
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5 and CSS3
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and familiarity with ECMAScript 6 (ES6) standards
  • Experience with ReactJS and a thorough understanding of its core principles
  • Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, npm)
  • Basic understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment remotely
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly

Preferred:
  • 2+ years of experience in frontend development
  • Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Context API)
  • Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design principles
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
  • Prior experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling

Physical Demands
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitors
