St. Peter's Health Partners - Samaritan Hospital/Cashier-Food Service Worker - Per Diem

Samaritan Hospital, located in Troy, NY and a member of St. Peter's Health Partners, is seeking a Per Diem, Cashier to join its team in Food & Nutrition services. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected and recognized hospital.

The following description of the essential functions and performance expectations for this job are intended to reflect the major responsibilities and duties of the job, but are not intended to describe minor duties or other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Position Summary:

  • Supports opening and closing shifts in the cafeteria
  • Responsible for performing clerical and money management tasks in the retail areas
  • Ensures client, customer service/satisfaction and food quality in efficient and safe manner
  • Demonstrates professional behavior at all times
  • Adheres to SPHP's code of conduct

Minimum Requirements:
  • Food service and customer service experience is required
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to read and write
  • Weekend flexibility
