Job Title

Float Pool Registered Nurse

Requirements:

• 2+ years med/surg experience
• BLS through AHA
• Active IN or compact nursing license

Shifts:

• Days, evenings, nights - 12 hour shifts

Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, assist with 100 pounds. Lifting requirements may be heavier for specified departments. varying levels of acuity depending on the patient's phase of recovery.

The ideal candidate is comfortable with floating to multiple units and is comfortable working in a team environment.

Equipment utilized: Epic charting system. Pyxis medication dispensation machine. Abbott Plum A IV pumps. Phillips monitors - basic for acute care, advanced for progressive and ICU. Each room is equipped with in room patient lifts.
