Responsibilities

What do our Financial Analyst III's do?

The Financial Analyst III will support North America's growth and conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting programs for the business that align to the strategic goals of senior management. These analyses will occur on a regular and ad-hoc basis at the corporate, market, function, and geographic area scope to key stakeholders.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

  • Gather and Prepare Monthly Reporting KPIs from operations.
  • Reconcile reporting to ensure data integrity.
  • Perform Cost Center Analysis and Forecasting.
  • Provide Finance Support to central functions.
  • Aid Finance team with regular reporting.
  • Support month end and year end closing.
  • Utilize and administer reporting data across all sources in Navision, Anaplan, Cognos, Qlikview, etc.
  • Understand Rentokil systems and processes to support the production and timely distribution of financial statements.
  • Different and challenging ad-hoc reporting requirements.
  • Backup the Administrator of Business Intelligence Tool.
  • Provide variation analysis with commentary.
  • Assist with Annual Budgets.
  • Track expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecast and analyze fluctuations.
  • Liaise between the business units, technology teams and support teams.
  • Coordinate financial questions/answers and training among the Districts, Regions, and other departments as appropriate.
  • Identify and promote the sharing of best practices across corporate and regional teams.
  • Participate in other projects as required.
  • Use best practices and knowledge of internal and external business issues to improve products or services.
  • Read, write and comprehend written and spoken English to communicate effectively and professionally at all times.
  • Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to be organized between multiple projects.
  • Be self-motivated.
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite 2007 or later, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Have knowledge of Google Suite, especially Google Drive and associated programs frequently used at Rentokil North America.
What do you need?
  • Bachelors degree in Finance or accounting - required
  • At least 3-5 years of Finance experience
  • At least 3-5 years of experience using a Business Intelligence tool (e.g., Prophix, Qlikview)
  • excellent verbal and written communication and people skills
  • strong analytical, technical, and organizational skills and be detail oriented
  • advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Apps beneficial

  • Work Schedule: This job tends to have regular office hours that must be worked in the Corporate Office, but may also have extended hours due to time-sensitive financial closing arrangements. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
