Beacon Hill Associates is partnering with a boutique law firm! This company is looking for a Filing Assistant. If you are someone that is looking for growth and needs flexible hours, this is a perfect position for you.

Location: Remote or in office

Pay Rate: $17 per hour with a potential bonus

Hours: 37.5 hours (Flexible hours)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

-Keeping the client updated on the status of each matter in their Foreign patent portfolio.

-Preparing draft responses for attorneys as well as sending out instructions to foreign associates as necessary.

-Preparing pending claim sets.

-Maintaining complete and accurate electronic files for clients

-Preparing formal documents for client signatures

-Following up with the clients to make sure signed documents are returned and filed in a timely manner.

-Sending national stage reminder letters.

-Providing backup for co-workers as necessary.

-Performing other tasks as directed or assigned.

Qualifications:

-Preferred Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

-Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals.

-Working knowledge of Word and Excel Software programs.
