Join our growing team of professionals as a Family Partner in our IHBTC (Intensive Home Based Therapeutic Care) Program at Behavioral Health Network!

The Family Partner works with parents and caregivers to establish and nurtures family engagement. This is done while providing consultation to the Intensive Home Based Therapeutic Care team about family values and culture. The Family Partner engages parents and caregivers in a strength driven process designed to address one or more goals on the youth's treatment plan. The Family Partner will possess the ability to teach, model and coach parents and caregivers on how to navigate child-serving systems.

We are dedicated to offering high quality, affordable and culturally appropriate care to people of all ages and income levels in our constituent communities.

The Family Partner at Behavioral Health Network has the following qualities:

  • Experience as a caregiver of a youth with special needs and preferably a youth with mental health needs.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a human services field from an accredited university AND one year of experience working with the target population; OR
  • Associate's Degree in a human service field from an accredited school AND one year of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth; OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of two years of experience working with children/adolescents/transition age youth.
  • Experience in navigating any of the child and family-serving systems
  • Experience teaching family members who are involved with children about the family serving systems.
  • Valid Massachusetts driver's license and automobile (required).
  • Familiarity with internet, word processing, and email systems (required).
