This position is responsible for managing activities involved in the design/fabrication, maintenance operation, application and installation of manufacturing processes and to design, improve reliability, modify and maintain the physical infrastructure of the facility and manufacturing equipment used to produce a product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages maintenance costs/planning, monthly reporting, and project tracking
  • Manages the design, installation, and automation of vendor equipment/systems including concepts, estimates, and installation proposals
  • Establishes operation parameters for PLCs, sensors, automation, electrical, and other systems
  • Responsible for training on operations and maintenance systems
  • Manages maintenance of facilities systems including spare parts inventories, retrofitting, reliability and upgrading of related systems
  • Manages fire protection, environmental and other energy related control systems
  • Assist with SAP Maintenance Module planning and continuous improvement
  • Develop maintenance strategies to improve productivity, reliability, and safety
  • Managers maintenance crew in troubleshooting equipment/systems/spare parts
  • Oversight of external contractors, consultants, and internal resources during project implementation
  • Collaborates with other department managers to complete site projects
  • Other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Director Operations
  • Participate in Capital Expenditure planning

Your Profile:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • 5 years minimum of experience in manufacturing Facility/Maintenance Engineering
  • Experience in leading and supervising work groups
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, Auto-CAD and Autodesk Inventor
  • Knowledge of hi-temp processing equipment, web converting, milling equipment, 3DCAD/CAM
  • Hands on management and process engineering is a must
  • Six Sigma methodology, Lean Manufacturing, principles, QS and ISO quality systems
  • Environmental and OSHA regulation compliance experience a plus
