JOB SUMMARY

Works closely with the Facilities Manager to support all facilities activities of the organization. Acts as the first point of contact for internal customers and vendors with the ability to react to urgent maintenance emergencies. Oversees building activity and equipment maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of facility.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

  • Provides day-to-day management of services for the operation and maintenance of the FM Service Facility to which assigned including mail room, security, customer/client services, and facility maintenance
  • Provides direction and information to vendors, employees, and service providers as required ensuring excellent coordination and execution of work within the company's environment with minimal disruption
  • Manages equipment and supply needs including furniture, kitchen appliances, supplies, and climate control
  • Creates and follows up on corrective work orders as necessary and monitors work order completions
  • Acts as liaison with building management for related repairs and issues
  • Maintains Gas Control Rooms, UPS systems, and generator systems including battery or fuel power
  • Responds to building and equipment emergencies
  • Assists in operational reporting, budgeting, financial management, and purchasing as necessary
  • Maintains and works with management on office assignments for current and new employees
  • Bears the responsibility for PO request and invoice payment
  • Maintains and promotes office protocol and assists with remote offices as needed
  • Documents processes and keeps maintenance records

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in facility coordination, project management or real estate, preferably in a high-rise building
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software such as Word, Excel, and Outlook with familiarity with Visio and AutoCad a plus
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence at a local level and across a broad organization
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
SPECIAL DEMANDS
  • This job primarily operates in a professional office environment and routinely requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, etc. Noise level is typically low. Frequently in a stationary, sitting position for prolonged periods of time. Regularly moves about inside the office to complete tasks, including mail delivery, attend meetings or to access the copy machine or file cabinets. Periodically pulls/pushes doors open to move around the office. Occasionally may lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds. Occasionally may climb A-frame ladders. Occasionally stoops, squats, kneels and crouches for durations up to 3 minutes.
Salary Range

The salary range for this job is $57,600-$92,100.
