Description

Job Summary\u0007 Perform equipment rack fabrication and wiring and systems installation activities at customer sites and company offices.Essential Duties and Responsibilities\u0007 Solder and crimp connectors where needed\u0007 Construct equipment racks and perform metalwork fabrication where required\u0007 Load equipment rack as per layout drawing and wire per system schematic\u0007 Read and interpret electronic schematics and architectural blueprints\u0007 Troubleshoot fabrication issues when requested by client or office \u0007 Assist with and perform installation tasks. Duties may include but are not limited to: Pulling cable installing connectors projector mounting/hanging (ceiling mounts) and metal fabricationOther duties assigned as neededSkills and Abilities \u0007 Effective communication and interaction with employees clients and colleagues and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization\u0007 Ability to test equipment and perform basic troubleshooting \u0007 Ability to work and think independently and ensuring to meet deadlines\u0007 Basic computer knowledge \u0007 Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities \u0007 Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail \u0007 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written \u0007 Demonstrated customer service focus and client communication skillsEducation and/or Experience \u0007 Minimum High school diploma or equivalent\u0007 Demonstrated working knowledge of AV practice and fabrication techniques \u0007 Experience and knowledge of installing connectors projector mounting/hanging metal fabrication is preferred\u0007 Valid ECS/CSCS card\u0007 InfoComm CTS qualification \u0007 Valid Driver's License and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets AVI-SPL driving standards EWorking Environment The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
