Analytics Firm based in Philadelphia is seeking an ETL Developer to join them on a perm full time basis.
Minimum 5 years experience in ETL development
Hands on with XSLT, Unicode, XQuery, XML Schema
Experience in AWS environment
Translating business requirements to technical specifications
Developing, deploying and maintaining technical specifications
Design, develop and maintain SSIS packages for ETL processes
Design, develop and maintain SQL schemas, triggers, functions and stored procedures
L3 Production support of ETL jobs
Develop and execute ad-hoc queries to support business analytics
Proactively communicates status reports and issues to management
Document ETL process thoroughly to allow peers for cross training enabling L2 support
4+ years experience in designing and data modeling Data Warehouse/ Data Lake
Experience in ETL/Backend/Database development
7+ years experience in the following technologies: ORACLE, MSSQL, SSIS, ETL, PostgreSQL, MS-APS, Python for database development
Experience in design and development
Good understanding of MPP and NoSQL architecture
Good Data Modeling experience and concepts
Experience with ETL concepts and source control
Experience with Agile development methodologies Knowledge of technologies including OACS, Talend & ESSBASE
Strong ETL knowledge with Real Time jobs, batch jobs, scheduling and Web Services
Strong knowledge in Data Services and Data Quality transformations is must
Good data analysis experience using SQL, analyzing redundant and inconsistent data, diagramming data flows and process flows
Knowledge of agile/Kanban development delivery
Aptitude towards learning new technologies and solving complex problem
Proven skills to write technical specifications for data extraction and good quality code
