Prologis is seeking an ESG Program Manager, Social Impact to be a key member of the Prologis Global ESG Team and play a meaningful role in advancing the company's ESG and sustainability leadership. We view our environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategy as a competitive differentiator that helps us to better serve our customers and deliver value to our business. Prologis has been carbon neutral in our operations since 2019, is currently the #2 ranked corporation for installed onsite solar capacity in the U.S., and has set a goal of net zero emissions across our value chain by 2040. We are leveraging our 1 billion square foot portfolio to benefit our customers and deliver decarbonization solutions at scale. This includes growing our energy-related lines of business, including EV charging and infrastructure and onsite solar. We are looking for a team-centric individual interested in being part of a top-notch group of sustainability professionals, with a focus on advancing Prologis' social impact and community engagement programs. To be successful in this role, this individual will need strong organizational, analytical, critical thinking and communications skills, as well as curiosity and a customer-first mindset to meet the evolving needs of our employees, investors, customers and community stakeholders. This position offers an unparalleled opportunity to advance ESG and social impact strategies at a global scale and to enable the ESG goals of Prologis, our customers, and our investors. This position is based in our Denver, Colorado, Phoenix, Arizona or San Francisco, California offices, but other Prologis office locations and remote/hybrid options will also be considered.

What's needed in order to do that:

  • Play a key role in the evolution of the company's social impact strategy and partnerships, including strategy development, program management, partnership development, and benchmarking activities.
  • Provide project management for Prologis' annual IMPACT Day, including partnering with global site champions, non-profit partners and other internal stakeholders on implementation, metrics and communications.
  • Partner with ESG, HR and local teams on year-round employee volunteering and giving programs, developing new strategies for employee engagement, skills-based volunteering and innovative business-aligned community projects.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and vendors related to social impact projects, including progress reviews and ROI/impact data reporting.
  • Track employee volunteer and giving data against Prologis' public ESG goals utilizing Prologis' volunteer software and ESG reporting systems, and enhance methodology for quantifying business and social impacts of programs and activities.
  • Partner with communications/marketing teams to develop content for internal and external communications (including for the company's annual ESG report, website/intranet, investor requests, and social media activities), related to social impact programs and strategy
  • Interface with and develop strong working relationships with various regional internal and external partners and assist internal teams with new projects/initiatives/deliverables.

  • Bachelor of Arts or Science degree preferred plus 5-7 years of social impact or program management experience preferably in Corporate Responsibility/Social Impact, ESG, Sustainability, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or Finance.
  • Thorough understanding of corporate philanthropy and social impact best practices, including corporate foundations, employee volunteer programs, and shared value strategies. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of managing corporate social impact initiatives, volunteer programs, or partnerships with a global, publicly traded company.
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams, high level of comfort within a matrixed environment. Ability to embrace change and adapt to evolving business needs and remain calm under pressure.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational, analytical and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • A critical thinker nimble with financial analysis and numerical data with a focus on concrete and quantitative back-up for positions taken.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams). Experience with ESG/financial reporting software systems, Tableau, Power BI, and data visualization a plus.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, good sense of humor, good listener, acts with urgency, agility, humility and willingness to "roll up sleeves" to drive projects to completion.
  • Builds effective relationships, inspires and builds trust among team and internal and external stakeholders and demonstrates strong customer service skills.

Hiring Salary Range of $120,000-$156,000. Salary and whole compensation package (bonus target & LTI) to be determined by the candidate's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
