The Equipment Manager cares for all university athletic equipment, uniforms, and related items. Including, but not limited to, ordering, inventory control, disbursement, collection, laundry, and repair of common items for all sports.

Driving a University vehicle or other vehicle while conducting University business is a requirement of this position. Applicants who apply for this position will be required to complete a motor vehicle record check. At a minimum, a successful candidate's driving record must be in compliance with guidelines established by the University. The results of the record check will be evaluated by the University before an applicant can become an employee of the University.
All offers of employment with Valparaiso University are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check. Background checks may include criminal history, motor vehicle reports, prior employment verification, and personal/professional references. If applicable to the position, background checks will also include credit history. Background checks will be conducted on all final candidates for employment.
