Job Requirements

Job Summary:

Full-time Position (rotating weekends and holidays)

Instruct and train employees under supervision

Use of new equipment

Department competencies

Cleaning solutions

Inspect the physical condition of the hospital

Alert staff assigned to corrections necessary

Make necessary work orders for repairs

Prepare assignments

Establish routines for consistent Cleaning

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly project assignments

Complete employee performance evaluations

Provide feedback to Manager regarding employee performance

Coach and instruct subordinates

Instruct staff on corrections from manager's inspection tours of the hospital.

Cover each assigned area to observe cleaning crews at work

See that safety rules are observed

Evaluate progress of all project work and ensure completion

Tour hospital and instruct staff to make corrections

Report all complaints, concerns and issues on the department report and to the manager

Carry two-way radio on site

Respond to requests and problems

Solve the problems and request

What we need from you:

• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) preferred.
• Supervisory and/or Lead experience required; two to five years of previous housekeeping training in a health care environment preferred
• Planning, organizing, directing and controlling, activities of personnel; techniques skills and interpersonal skills to counsel subordinates required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft operations - Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Required to read, write and speak English.
