We are hiring for an Engineering Intern to join our Transportation team at our Cleveland office in Independence, OH.  This role will be focused on bridge projects.

 

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering analysis, design, and review of Transportation projects with a focus on bridge design.
  
• Contribute to bridge designs as well as load-rating analyses.
  
• Assist with plan production.
  
• Additional duties may be assigned, as needed.
  

 

Basic Requirement:


In order to qualify, we need you to be enrolled in a relevant Engineering-oriented field of study (e.g.:  Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, etc.) at an ABET-accredited institution.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with basic office software applications, especially Microsoft Office 365.
  
• Excellent organizational skills, especially with a proven ability to work in an energetic and challenging work environment on a variety of projects; this person will be expected to collaborate with our team while demonstrating a self-motivated demeanor and effective multi-tasking skills.
  
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).
