Your Role:

• Work in a cross-functional team to design state-of-the-art components, products, and/or solutions for single-use equipment used in the bioprocessing industry (mixing, filtration, purification, cell culture, sampling, etc.)
• Focus on upstream processing applications including cell culture process development, monitoring, automation, and analytics
• Plan, set up, and execute laboratory experiments to simulate or directly assess the performance of new technologies, new products, or component prototypes
• Research literature and attend conferences to keep current with the bioprocessing end user's process design targets, performance expectations, and general bioprocessing needs
• Deliver internal and external presentations evaluating product designs and/or summarizing experimental results
• Up to 10% of domestic and international travel

Who you Are:

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.S. in Chemical/Biological Engineering with 5+ years of experience in a related technical area, or MS in Chemical /Biological Engineering with 3+ years of experience
• PhD in Chemical / Biological Engineering with up to 6 months of experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Biopharmaceutical and/or biotechnology industry experience
• Direct product development or biomanufacturing process development
• Hands-on experience with cell culture processes, process monitoring technology, or process automation
• Excellent problem solving, teamwork, facilitation skills and analytical skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with peers, customers, vendors and supervisors
• Excellent ability to communicate through written reports, oral presentations, application notes, poster presentations, and similar media
