RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Engineer 3 in Pontiac, MI.Key Tasks:

• Engineer supports/Leads technical reviews
• Establishes ICD (interface control document) requirements
• Performs studies & provides alternatives to balance imperatives with design requirements
• Leads the Product Development Team (PDT)
• As an Engineer, you release components/subsystems
• Ensures components meet analytical & validation requirements
• Coordinates engineering activities with other functions (e.g. Purchasing, Manufacturing, Suppliers, Supplier Quality, etc.) to ensure delivery of product meeting requirements and imperatives
• Addresses launch issues with urgency
• Engineer works with technical experts to ensure capture of lessons learned
• Acts as technical resource for the program teams, development engineers and DRE's within the various SMT's
• Input tire pressure and related vehicle information for the described FMVSS labels into the current system utilizing established process
• Input and drive tire pressure documentation in new system for all company programs in the future
• Engineer assists mass analysts/DRE with tire pressure data and ensure program configurations are all taken into consideration
• Data Validation - Coordinating
• Creating Label for Tires and Wheels

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (No Technology degrees)
• At least 3 years of experience as a DRE - within tires, wheels, or wheel trims
• * Experience with Visual Basics
• Experience as Specification Analyst
• Ability to work in an ambiguous environment - self directing and curious
• Familiarity with systems such as eSOR, ECM, PRTS and ability in Excel - Specification's background would be a big plus
• Presentation skills for leadership reviews
