As an Employee Relations Business Partner you will oversee the day-to-day HR operations at the Atlantic City site and maintain and enhance the team member experience by planning, implementing, and evaluating policies, programs, and practices. In this role, you'll handle all team member relations and proactively partner with the business operators to provide support in helping them accomplish their business goals. This position is full-time onsite at the DraftKings site located within the Golden Nugget Atlantic City facility. Sound good to you? Join us.
What you'll do as Employee Relations Business Partner:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Atlantic City office and responsible for all employee relations, performance management, succession planning, and investigations.
  • Support all areas of HR, including coordination with other members of the People Team for leave of absence, time-off, and payroll matters.
  • Proactively identify opportunities by analyzing statistical data to provide support and recommendations to business leaders to help them achieve their goals.
  • Assist with the Golden Nugget Online Gaming (GNOG) integration, transition, and process documentation.
  • Provide advice, problem resolution, and counsel to team members and leaders regarding policies and procedures.
  • Analyze and modify compensation to establish competitive programs and comply with legal requirements and DraftKings' policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance of all Human Resources documentation for organizational efficiency and comply with applicable laws.
  • Coordinate and administer new hire orientation and all necessary new hire paperwork.
  • Responsible for risk mitigation activities and litigation about employee relations, including the maintenance of unemployment claims.
  • Oversee the off-boarding process for all employees, including conducting exit interviews and compiling data.
  • Responsible for gauging team member engagement, analyzing the results, and administering company programs/events as a result.
What you'll bring:
  • 5 years of Human Resources management experience with solid Employee Relations experience.
  • Ability to use analytical skills and critical thought processes to make decisions and recommendations.
  • Demonstrated success working with diverse people and levels of authority with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks and effectively re-prioritize at a moment's notice while maintaining organization or work processes.
  • A high level of integrity with the ability to maintain highly confidential information and operate in highly sensitive situations.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience developing team members by planning, directing, coaching, delegating, training, and evaluating.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Google Workspace.
  • Relevant experience in the Casino & Gaming industry is preferred.
