Description:

The Emergency Cash Funding Analyst will execute tasks related to managing emergency cash funding for Vault Cash customers of Cash Connect. The incumbent will perform critical activities by maintaining the reconciliation, research, and replacement of used emergency funds for Vault Cash ATM fills between vault cash and armored courier offices. This position is the principal authority to facilitate communication with all related personnel, ensure funding deadlines are met for replacement orders, address customers' needs within agreed timelines, and act as audit liaison. The Emergency Cash Funding Analyst is the key point of research and communication internally and externally for the emergency funds for the vault cash program.

Responsibilities:

  • Creation, maintenance, reconcilement of bank vault / armored courier / vault cash customer (triadic relationship partners) “pseudo vaults” which carry established and insured funds for emergency funding usage as needed.
  • Complete complex communications between triadic relationship partners. Timely response expectation for all communication (thirty minutes)
  • Prepare and submit “replacement cash orders” to replenish used funds with earliest possible availability.
  • Work collaboratively with internal partners to maintain appropriate insured limits on “pseudo vaults.”
  • Complete reconcilement to maintain agreed cash level.
  • Complete Ad hoc research as needed for both internal and external partners regarding to emergency funds.
  • Assist with customer related communication inbox including delegation of items to appropriate team personnel.
  • Main point of contact for Customer related communications including electronic or telephone messages.
  • Main point of contact for Corresponding Bank communications related to emergency fund cash management.
  • Completion of end of day reporting to include all import information and financial impact communications as needed.
  • Participation and support of Cash Distribution functions as needed (ie placement of cash order requests, internal and external customer support via telephone or email communications and various research / documentation support.
  • Participation in projects related to technological and production improvements.
  • Participation and representation in audit requirements specific to vault cash program.
  • Cross training completion to educate other client operation team members on emergency cash management as well as completion of various cross training in other Client Operations tasks.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science or financial education related College degree.
  • Must have prior experience work in a telephone customer service / support position. Prior experience in a position entailing strict daily deadlines for completion of duties is a plus.
  • Must have prior experience working with numbers, some bookkeeping, accounting or reconcilement.
  • Ability to communicate with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to support entails problem solving, research and responding to questions about vault cash management, cash order information and other communications regarding funding items.
  • Ability to refer business opportunities to the Sales Director as such requests come through the normal service engagements.
  • Must understand the various cash request formats, exception item processing and national cash ordering deadlines
  • Must be able to type a speed of about 50 wpm.
  • Skilled in Windows environment and MS word processing and spreadsheet applications.
  • Professional telephone and communication skills / etiquette.
  • Must be able to work under daily deadlines and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Flexibility in work hours to meet peak demands and volume.
  • Detail oriented and capable of carrying out analytical responsibilities.
