This is a 9 month temporary assignment.

Examples of Work
Install and maintain automated traffic counting sites statewide. Collect Weigh-In-Motion data in the eastern half of the state annually. Use radar collect portable count data as required. Collect data for "specials" as required. Maintain and repair count equipment. Maintain inventory of count equipment and consumables. Process procurement transactions. Process and submit expense forms.
Qualifications / Requirements
REQUIREMENTS: Post high school coursework or experience in the installation, maintenance, or repair of radios, electronic devices/instruments, computer equipment, or other similar hardware and circuitry.

PREFERRED: Electronic repair experience. Associates Degree in Electronic Troubleshooting and Repair. Experience in the use of large power tools such as a concrete saw and extensive experience using hand power tools. Experience working in an IT networked environment and using MS Word, Excel and Outlook.

OTHER: Must have a valid driver's license or be able to provide authorized independent transportation. Overnight travel is required. Regular and reliable attendance is also required.

Microsoft Office skills.
