EHS/Safety Specialist - Safety, MFG, Spanish, OSHA, Training If you are EHS/HSE Coordinator or specialist with an applicable industrial safety/HSE/EHS skillset and a desire to join a manufacturing team, and to help with training, compliance and new initiative buy-in projects, we have an exciting role open at our expanded manufacturing facility in the greater Northern CA Bay Area, covering plants in the Napa area and Stockton (role can be based in either, but will be responsible for BOTH locations EHS duties)

We are always open to candidates that either come with a few years of experience under their belt, as well as a more junior, UP and COMER type , as we have LOTS OF work, but this role is really set for someone with a few solid years of experience, say 3-5+ under their belt given they will be the POINT PERSON with regards to the EHS efforts at BOTH facilities....if you are less experienced, please still get in touch as we may offer flexibility when it comes to finding the right person.

PLEASE NOTE - this is a role that will be GREATLY IMPROVED as far as your effectiveness and efficiency, given your ability to communicate, create and delivery training materials in both English and Spanish, so please do make sure you have the BILINGUAL LANGUAGE SKILLSET and let me know when you apply that you do, as this is a KEY tool that will determine your ability to hit the ground running in helping to maintain compliance, train the staff, and create materials for the organization in both English and Spanish language.


ALSO REQUIRED - We would like those with Bachelor's degree , and if you have any additional safety, safety training, environmental or other applicable certifications, we would love to know about them!

EXPERIENCE LEVEL:

----> This is going to be a Mid to Sr Role - We would be targeting those with 3-5+ years' experience in functional role supporting a broad base of both Safety and Environmental projects, WITHING an industrial/Manufacturing setting or facility.

This role will perform tasks with varying levels of depth and will include everything from:
----> Safety training and compliance Projects
----> Monthly, quarterly, annual audits and compliance projects with both Safety and Environmental reporting agencies and organizations.
----> Work to promote a culture of safety and commitment to changes supporting both environmental and safety initiatives.

We would welcome those with additional SAFETY Certifications, such as CSP, CHMM, or any other training/certs.

We are seeking those with a strong ability to drive projects with a fire from within, a commitment to fostering a culture of safety on site, and a desire to drive changes, and manage change projects via employee and management buy-in.

We need those that are able to communicate effectively, via written materials, official documentation, via in person and virtual training sessions, not to mention those able to effectively communicate with remote company team members/locations and external clients, governmental agencies, etc.

The employee should possess the ability to:
Stand, work and travel throughout the plant daily, work in an industrial setting, lift as much as 25-50 lbs, and climb ladders, wear protective gear, etc.
