The Equipment Group Financing (EFG) Senior Sales Support Representative is responsible for all aspects of documenting, closing and funding EFG transactions. This position interfaces with the client, relationship manager, portfolio managers, asset managers and credit managers for all matters related to the due diligence, documentation, perfection, closing and funding, and thus must be able to coordinate with and influence multiple parties while driving toward the shared goal of an excellent client experience. Ensures that all documents required for closing are in place and coordinates judgmental "clear to close" decisions and any document or process exceptions with their manager. Ensures that the company's equipment liens and/or ownership are properly perfected in accordance with legal requirements and company's policies and procedures.

Essential Job Responsibilities__________________________________

1. Mentors Sales Support Representatives and assists in training new hires.

2. Documents and reviews complex lease/loan structures including Municipal transactions and transactions over $500,000

3. Strives to provide extraordinary client service by exercising the Perfect Client Experience (PCE)

4. Ensures Service Level Agreements are met with regard to client service for both internal and external clients

5. Manages the entire transaction documentation and closing process for lease/loan transactions

6. Works directly with the client, sales representative and all internal departments to ensure that policy, compliance and regulatory matters necessary for closing are addressed early in the process

7. Effectively manages and prioritizes work queues for new lease/loan transactions

8. Proactively manages work-in-progress within the closing calendar, balancing the needs of multiple internal and external stakeholders simultaneously

9. Ensures that transactions are documented and closed per the instructions and conditions stated in the credit and asset management approval memo(s)

10. Works with manager to determine, obtain and analyze required due diligence items including, but not limited to:

o Know Your Customer requirements

o CDD/BO requirements

o OFACs

o UCC searches

 Ensures subordinations/releases obtained to perfect liens/ownership (including proper motor vehicle title work), if applicable

o Proof of insurance

o Entity Corporate documents

o Assignment documents (purchased transactions only)

o UCC-1/UCC-3 preparation

o Invoices/Proof of Payment

o MSO/Titles

11. Confirms payment / wire instructions provided by vendor or customer are correct and accurate

12. Takes appropriate actions to resolve deficiencies and if not able to resolve themselves, escalates disputes to appropriate level

13. Prepares funding communication to ensure proper disbursement of funds via wire, ACH and check payments

14. Takes proactive steps to ensure that follow up items are received on a prompt and timely basis

15. Participates in projects as assigned

16. Presents suggestions on efficiency improvements for the department

Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications___________________________

1. A Bachelor's degree in Business (e.g. Business Administration, Finance, Accounting) or equivalent work experience preferred

2. Five (5) years of experience with loan documentation, with demonstrated expertise in due diligence and perfection processes required.

3. Knowledge of loan structures and documentation needs/requirements, loan documentation, collateral, lien perfection, evaluation/review/interpretation of UCC searches and vehicle titling needs and processes preferred.

4. Strong attention to detail, effective problem solving and analytical skills, with ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks

5. Proficient in typing, knowledge of Microsoft Office software, reading, writing and grammar skills, analytical or mathematical skills, and communications and interpersonal relations.

6. May be eligible for telecommuting.
