RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel expansion project Compliance Manager in implementing, tracking, and refining the project's Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO), Affirmative Action, and On-the-Job Training Programs

• Ensure state & federal compliance with monthly, weekly, and annual form completions, & submissions to appropriate agencies

• Work directly and cultivate relationships with community sources for minority and women employment and on-the-job training referrals

• Meet with project field personnel on a regular basis to discuss EEO policy and ensure policy is understood and followed by all project personnel

• Monitor subcontractor EEO reporting and work with the Compliance Manager to refine the project's EEO and OJT plans

• Assist with producing EEO internal compliance training and community outreach events

• Work with various members of the project team to communicate EEO processes, procedures, and compliance

• Assist with the vetting of potential OJT participants

Preferred Experience or Skills:
• Law/paralegal degree
• Excellent research and investigative skills
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent training and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to be flexible and change priorities to meet Company needs
• General knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office
• Ability for travel to and from the project office, construction site, and local networking/outreach events
