University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in Urbana, Illinois, seeks an Education Coordinator.

Duties:

Coordinate the educational agenda and programs of computational science and engineering (CSE) and collaborative educational programs between CSE and the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA).

50%: Coordinate undergraduate CSE programs including certificate, minor, and research experience for undergraduate students by collaborating with faculty, departmental / college / university contacts, evaluating and revising the program as needed, advising students on the completion of the program, and other related duties. Coordinate graduate programs, including CSE certificate and concentration options, CSE Fellows and the CSE MEng Degree by collaborating with faculty, departmental / college / university contacts, evaluating and revising the program as needed, advising students on the completion of the program, and other related duties. Develop in-depth documentation and analysis of undergraduate and graduate CSE programs.

25%: Establish and support collaboration between CSE and the NCSA industry program. Collaborate with CSE faculty and NCSA staff and faculty on education-related proposals to external funding agencies by providing relevant content, developing innovations in CSE curriculum and educational activities, supporting on-line educational activities, assessing impact of CSE education, and by establishing close relationships between CSE/NCSA education and computing-driven educational activities on campus. Liaise between CSE and NCSA educational programs and educational related initiatives and work with the NCSA Education Coordinator to leverage and synergize where appropriate.

25%: Add educational content to CSE website. Collaborate on educational activities on CSE-funded research. Assist in integrating the educational program with CSE training activities. Perform related duties as assigned. Full-time position.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Industrial & Systems Engineering or related field. Two (2) years' experience as instructional designer, program coordinator or related developing and managing student programs and collaborating with faculty on student programming. Experience may be obtained with a Bachelor's degree.
