Our Hydro Flask Team is based in breathtaking Bend, Oregon. There is a desert to the East of town and mountains to the West. Our geography says a lot about who we are. What you'll be doing:

As an eCommerce Sales Assistant, you will support the eCommerce Sales Manager with a focus on our business with Amazon.com and other pure play e-commerce accounts. In this role, you will proactively provide merchandising assistance to launch new product with pure play e-commerce accounts and drive sales of existing items, as well as coordinate key strategic programs to deliver results and grow our business online.

  • Primary point of contact for all questions and concerns for assigned key accounts
  • Proactively review account performance and discuss with manager on a regular basis
  • Find opportunities for increased sales or improved profitability
  • Maintain high levels of service and positive relationships with assigned key accounts
  • Proactively problem solve, so we continue to high levels of service to our customers
  • Handle/monitor assortments, forecasts, promotions, account programs, costing, P+L
  • Coordinates the execution of online sales, merchandising and promotional strategies and provides analysis of results
  • Investigates and resolves chargebacks and shipping discrepancies
  • Coordinates direct import program in partnership with International Sales and Operations Teams
  • Ensure account manager and/or vendor manager are informed of all product updates as appropriate
  • Alert account manager and/or vendor manager to challenges as they arise for quick resolution
  • Capture meeting notes/follow ups and share out with appropriate individuals
  • Ownership of new item set-up paperwork and reporting on new item sell-through on Amazon.com and other pure play accounts
  • Ensures product content is displayed accurately across all Hydro Flask detail pages and is optimized for discoverability and conversion
  • Set meetings, build presentation materials, and coordinates samples for key account meetings
  • Partner with marketing team to ensure salsify catalogs and product data is scrubbed and regularly managed
  • Partners with Customer Service to coordinate customer pricing and reduce PO errors
  • Works alongside Sales Manager, Product Development and Legal to eliminate the sale of unauthorized or counterfeit hydro flask product in online marketplaces
  • Informs demand planner of upcoming sales strategies or merchandising updates that may impact the forecast
  • Voice of assigned key accounts internally; coordinate with sales, supply/demand, customer service, product, go to market, brand design, and finance/accounting teams
  • Set e-commerce merchandising standards for whole hydro flask sales team by keeping salsify systems up to date
  • Work on assigned total sales team projects as needed


Skills needed to be successful in this role:

  • Strong communication and active listening skills
  • Demonstrated high level of customer Service, teamwork and proactive problem solving
  • Ability to effectively engage with all internal and external partners on matters of account support and selling


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate degree
  • At least 2 years' experience providing account support
  • Proficient with MS office
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2 + years in sales positions of growing responsibility/scale
  • Prior experience in related channel (TBD by role)
  • Experience using ERP/CRM programs
  • Experience with Oracle
