What you will be doing:

The Documentation Control Project Manager will lead documentation control activities related to coordination management of change orders around marketing, engineering, manufacturing, regulatory, and more. This role will also assist in the implementation and maintenance of robust documentation control systems, and perform training and support of these systems on an ongoing basis.

  • Lead change orders in Agile
  • Support Program Managers and Project Engineers in the execution of technical and non-technical projects and corresponding documentation
  • Run communication between internal and external resources and suppliers
  • Lead overseas meetings as the need arises to manage projects/programs
  • Creation of Finished Good Bill of Materials (BOMs) within Agile
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate release of information (documents, artwork, etc.)
  • Develop tools and processes to better optimize department responsibilities
  • Run reports as needed for outstanding tasks like ECOs, DCOs, etc.
  • Create, update, review, and develop Document Control standard operating procedures and supporting work instructions based on ISO 13485 and FDA Quality System Regulations
  • Lead training classes on processes and systems on an ongoing basis
  • Create and update SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and Work Instruction
  • Lead additional department requirements as needed
  • Onsite 3rd Audit and internal audit support as needed


Skills needed to be successful in this role:
  • Ability to prioritize different tasks, meet deadlines and manage expectations accordingly across various departments
  • Able to handle a diverse team, work proactively in a team environment and with our manufacturing suppliers across different countries and time zones
  • Must be detail oriented and have good follow-through skills
  • Ability to learn quickly on the job
  • Strong technical writing ability
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Able to analyze, investigate, and resolve issues
  • Flexibility


Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA or BS degree
  • 5+ years supporting engineering technical projects and documentation
  • 5+ years' experience with documentation control standard operating procedures
  • 5+ years' experience in training teams on process and supporting audits
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Oracle E-business Suite, and Agile PLM software
