JOB DESCRIPTION

The Dispenser Service Technician's (DST) primary function is the installation and maintenance of Euclid Chemical's concrete admixture dispensing equipment. The DST is responsible for covering a respective territory; however they may be requested to travel into other select areas. Euclid Chemical currently has an opening for the Southern California territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Responsible for all dispenser equipment in the field.
  • Visit and evaluate plants to order the proper dispenser equipment needed (i.e. conduit for electrical, hose lengths, position of dispenser, etc.)
  • Install dispenser equipment and assist the customer in matching our dispenser to their plant (such as counts, added products, etc.).
  • Service equipment in a timely manner whenever it breaks down. Must keep an adequate supply of parts on truck for repairs.
  • Responsible for picking up any equipment in the field that needs to be removed, and returned to a Euclid facility.
  • Responsible for washing out any tanks immediately upon being returned at the Euclid Chemical plant with the guidance of the plant manager on the waste product.
  • Restore any used equipment that can be reused.
  • Administrative tasks (such as DOT certifications, expense reports, daily or weekly reports, etc.)
  • Calls on current admixture customers on a routine basis to offer them DST services.
  • May be asked to transfer safe amounts of material from location to location (such as raw materials for concrete testing, admixture, fiber, etc.).
  • Order and install equipment at the designated customer location and maintain that equipment after installation.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on the equipment.
  • Assist in state inspections.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Travel up to 50% of the time. Must be willing to spend the night out of town when required.
  • Flexible schedule. This includes early mornings, late nights and weekends as needed.
  • Ability to work alone and with others
  • Organizational, problem solving, and time management skills
  • Basic plumbing, electrical, fabrication, mathematical skills.
  • Ability to follow Euclid Chemical Safety Policies and The Customer's Safety Policies.
