Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a late stage pre IPO fintech backed by some of the world's most famous venture capital firms, is searching for a Director of Regulatory Reporting and Compliance Audit. This role sits in their audit department. This is a big job for a company that should be going public in the next 1-2 years. • You will be the primary liason between this company and regulatory agencies which include the SEC, FINRA, OCC and FRB
• You also will be responsible for responsible for the development and execution of an assurance plan covering the financial reporting and accounting processes including their SOX processes
• Other duties as assigned

Skills

• Bachelor's degree Required - Accounting or Finance Preferred
• CPA or other certification
• Ten or more years of internal audit experience
• Experience working with financial industry regulators, including OCC, FRB, and FINRA
• Experience with the financial industry
• Deep knowledge of risk assessment, audit methodology, and audit execution
• Prior experience in public accounting
