Job Description Summary
The Director, People Analytics and Workforce Planning is responsible for unlocking the power of data to increase Cushman and Wakefield's ability to leverage analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, prescriptive) in people related decisions making. Leveraging skills in analytics and visualization this position will be responsible for supporting the business, by providing insights and informing decision making related to people and people actions.
The ideal candidate will have a unique ability to both 'roll up their sleeves' to lead initiatives in delivery of critical data analytics projects. They will work collaboratively across all levels of the organization, supporting the business in understanding the value that people data can bring to the organization, improving the way that we identify, attract, develop, and retain talent.
Job Description

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Present deliverables with emphasis on translating data and results into actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Design and continuously improve global HR metrics, reports and dashboards which are aligned with the HR and business strategies, using benchmarking and best practices as guiding standards.

  • Develop and oversee the implementation of any initiatives to build basic analytical skill / proficiency across the HR community.
  • Act as internal consultant for HR leadership and key organization stakeholders and apply analytical data expertise to develop and articulate strategic recommendations to address client challenges.
  • Lead key analytics projects and initiatives (e.g. workforce planning) as required, providing consultation, analyses, data interpretation, and overall project management.
  • Utilize benchmarking and best practice to design and continuously improve actionable, proactive metrics and HR key performance indicators (KPI) metrics that drive forecasting capabilities and facilitate strategic insights.
  • Partner with IT and HR Operations teams to manage automation of recurring queries and reports as well as other HR leaders.
  • Adapts plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges.
  • Prepare analysis to support sales pursuits and RFP responses, that support business development.

Knowledge & Experience:
  • 8 to 10 years of relevant experience working with and creating data architectures.
  • 5+ years of analytics and reporting experience supporting a corporate function (ex. HR, Finance, Procurement, IT).
  • 3+ of presenting and working with Senior level / Executive stakeholders.
  • Experience working in or supporting an HR function a plus (particularly HRIS).
  • Expansive knowledge of metrics, data and business intelligence strategies including Power BI, Tableau and/or similar tools (Workday experience a plus).
  • Experience in the development and implementation of process and systems changes.
  • Strong Project Management skillset and the ability to adjust quickly to competing priorities.
  • Strong business acumen, with proven ability in data analysis and interpretation, statistical application, and workforce modeling.
  • Outstanding consultative, critical thinking and analytic skills with ability to operate strategically and build effective partnerships across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully handle multiple concurrent priorities simultaneously; attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy; ability to thrive in dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate analytics and analytical insights to a non-technical audience.
