Description

Founded in 1966, LJB Inc. is a national engineering firm that provides civil and structural engineering, as well as geospatial, safety and environmental services. Our diverse expertise, client base and geographies have enabled LJB to serve clients in all 50 U.S. states and several countries.

We are looking to fill the role of Director of Strategy and Growth in our Dayton, OH office. The strategy and growth director will oversee strategic planning, market analysis and initiatives aimed at expanding the company's market share and revenue stream. This role will serve as a professional consultant with business unit leaders to develop and execute strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.

Pay: 120,000 - 150,000

DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY AND GROWTH ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Work with VPGBD and business unit leadership to establish annual and five-year strategy.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key business partners both insider and outside the organization to drive growth through collaborations, alliances, or joint ventures.
• Collaborate with members of the internal marketing team and external consultants to execute projects and drive outcomes.
• Work closely with Business Development team members to reach clients and achieve sales goals.
• Periodic travel to LJB locations, events, and client meetings to broaden industry knowledge and support marketing and sales efforts.
• Other duties as assigned.

DIRECTOR OF STRATEGY AND GROWTH ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field of study

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of practical experience marketing professional services, with preference given to candidates with experience in the A/E/C industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Office 365 products, with a preference for candidates who also have experience in Adobe InDesign
• Proven ability to approach role with a customer service mindset
