Our client, a well-established communications company, is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join their New York team. Your responsibilities in this role will include managing payroll, serving as a point of contact for employee inquiries and advising on issues or questions, overseeing the benefits program, and supporting the recruiting team. Other day to day tasks will include maintaining performance management programs, supporting DE&I initiatives, facilitating onboarding and orientation processes, monitoring HRIS systems for accuracy and effectiveness, and assisting with other ad hoc HR duties as needed. The ideal candidate will have extensive HR experience, working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment regulations, exceptional prioritization and multitasking skills, strong decision making and advisory skills, excellent relationship building capabilities, and a high sense of confidentiality. Requirements:

• 7+ years of HR experience
• Experience in a creative environment
• Strong problem solving and multitasking skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent leadership and decision making capabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced environment
• Working knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations
