Facebook is seeking a Director of Data Center Portfolio Management to manage Facebook's global data center real estate and development portfolio in line with the company's strategic objectives. This role has overall global responsibility for the data center real estate supply portfolio management. This role manages the implementation of real estate and commercial obligations to ensure on-time development, ongoing growth, and changes at Meta data center sites so they can continue to be constructed and operated to meet business needs, additionally this role will be responsible for providing our data centers with the ability to receive high quality, efficient and reliable water and sewer services in a manner that is inclusive of environmental and community interests and ensuring that Meta designs, builds, and operates in compliance with all environmental standards, while promoting environmental stewardship across project life cycles.

<ul><li>Grow and lead a global team of water/sewer, environmental, and real estate development portfolio managers managing Facebook's global data center estate</li><li>Collaborate with key leaders across design, engineering, construction, network, and legal to develop the strategic plan needed to execute against the company's aggressive capacity targets</li><li>Guide team members on overall strategic approach to ensure smooth transition from site selection through construction and post-break ground operational management</li><li>Accountable for water/sewer and environmental delivery & compliance for all new builds and throughout the life cycle of the data center (inclusive of expansions). Ensure compliance with a range of agreements across many disparate local jurisdictions (GLOBALLY), and maintain relationships with key city and county officials</li><li>Development and operationalizing of an "asset management" function (currently does not exist today) to provide better tracking and reporting of land holdings, documentation of agreements and terms, and obligations across all data center regions</li><li>Provide technical support for any onsite issues related to water, wastewater, environmental and integration with utilities or agencies</li><li>Ensure environmental diligence and support for all network builds</li><li>Recruit, on-board, and mentor internal staff and ensure robust learning and career development</li><li>Travel domestically and internationally as needed (25%+)</li></ul>

<ul><li>15+ years of overall experience working in the real estate development space</li><li>8+ years experience managing a multi-layered organization</li><li>Proven commercial leadership and negotiation experience on multi-variable, complex deals</li><li>Proven track record of delivering large capital projects</li><li>Strategic thinker with experience driving decision making in ambiguous environments with experience influencing senior level stakeholders</li><li>Analytical problem-solving skills, experience being effective in a fast paced, hands-on work environment, and have a track record of success leading projects and developing complex solutions across multiple stakeholders</li><li>Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator</li><li>Communication, and presentation skills</li><li>Proven track record of organizational leadership, including leading larger organizations and scaling teams during growth cycles</li><li>Knowledgeable about and/or experience to quickly assess industry trends and headwinds, market opportunities, and the competitive landscape</li></ul>

<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in a business, finance, real estate, MBA or J.D</li><li>10+ years experience of real estate portfolio management including managing water/sewer & environmental diligence in support of site selection & development delivery</li><li>International development experience</li><li>Experience in data center industry</li></ul>
