Essential Functions:

  • Promotes the philosophy and objectives of the intercollegiate athletics program; to include adhering to all Departmental policies and procedures, as well as the rules and regulations of the University, the Atlantic Coast Conference and the NCAA.
  • Provide reports for scouts, maintains practice data, and game analysis.
  • Manages in-game technology needs.
  • Collaborates with student-athletes on goal setting both on and off the court.
  • Assists with practice schedules both on-campus and while in travel status.
  • Supervises the daily operation of the student athletes within the Women's Basketball program which include but not limited to class checks, tutoring appointments, strength and conditioning, nutrition, and office sign in.
  • Responsible for accuracy of recruiting database and generates recruiting reports as requested.
  • Manage recruiting database, CARA logs, and accuracy in ARMS software
  • Work closely with staff during team travel to ensure the organization and efficiency of all road trips including menu orders, film presentation and daily itineraries.
  • Oversee/manage community service projects
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Education, Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree with two years of experience in a collegiate sports program.
  • Knowledge and understanding of an intercollegiate basketball organization and recruiting polices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing,
  • Ability to work in extremely high stress, pressured, deadline driven situations.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to travel with teams as assigned.
  • Valid driver license with a good driving record; must be insurable.
  • Subject to indoor and outdoor environments.
