Your role:

You will have a leading position in the global organization of Discovery Pharmacology leading a department of highly skilled and engaged scientists in the area of molecular and cellular pharmacology. You will coordinate the development and implementation of a wide range of in vitro screening approaches for the discovery and characterization of drug candidates. You will evaluate and select the most promising hit finding and characterization approaches for discovery projects and implement the necessary innovative technologies.

Who you are:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in biology, chemistry or equivalent natural or medical sciences.
  • Overall 5+ years of experience in pharma or biotech.
  • Leadership experience.

Preferred Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and thoughtful leadership allow you to build strong relations and collaborations.
  • Track record in in vitro pharmacology support of discovery portfolio from hit identification to lead optimization.
  • Experience in biochemical and cellular high throughput screening, lab robotic and automation and data analytics.
  • Understanding of drug discovery especially in the areas of immunology and immuno-oncology.
  • Experience in multiple modalities including small molecules, biologics and novel modalities such as degrader molecules.
  • Passion in driving technology innovation; experience in strategic planning and external collaborations.
