DaVita Integrated Kidney Care (DaVita IKC) is the integrated care division of DaVita Inc. working on DaVita's vision to provide integrated care to all ESRD patients, who are some of the most medically complex and vulnerable patient populations in the US. General Purpose of the Job:

This position will be responsible for planning and managing performance of DaVita Integrated Kidney Care's Medicare Risk Adjustment Program. Under the direction of the Vice President of Provider Strategy and Operations, this position will collaborate to execute on the Risk Adjustment performance management strategy to ensure a high performing and compliant Risk Adjustment Program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the development and manage key performance indicators in partnership with the healthcare finance team. Understand output of analytics and translate into programmatic changes and/or new initiatives
  • Organize and provide executive, management and front-line initiatives and performance reporting and communication.
  • Recommend and collaborate to develop new performance measures
  • Execute on routine reconciliations to ensure all submitted risk adjustment data is captured and accurately submitted to payors. Identify areas of financial opportunity between RAPS and EDS submissions and partner with payors to drive to resolution,
  • Develop and maintain an expert level of knowledge of Medicare and risk-based reimbursement methodologies
  • Identify and analyze implications of key changes to the regulatory and policy risk adjustment environment on provider organizations
  • Partner with operations teams on new program launches to deliver back office capabilities to support
  • Assist in managing vendor contracts. Identify new areas of opportunity with vendors to implement new clinical and risk adjustment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Finance on accounting, budgeting, planning and forecasting
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Required, Masters preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in the following areas in a healthcare setting:
  • Medicare Advantage Risk Adjustment programs
  • Analytics and data analysis
  • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a fast-moving work environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience leading a team.

Salary/ Wage Range

$91,000.00 to $133,700.00

Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience and may fall outside of the range shown.
