Director Marketing Innovation - Wayne, NJ

Job Purpose:

The Director, Marketing Innovation is responsible for the development and execution of all marketing communications initiatives within the United States and Canada that are based in digital, emerging best practices and non-traditional delivery methods. This includes, but is not limited to, internal and external facing marketing communications, corporate branding initiatives, medical meetings and conventions, tradeshows and sales materials and resources.

The position collaborates and consults with key stakeholders within the BA, global content management and commercial operations. Additionally, this individual is responsible for management of external agency partners that create and develop content on our behalf.

The Director, Marketing Innovation is the primary meetings and tradeshow lead and steward within North America. This individual is responsible for the development of all corporate-branding and product-related digital/web marketing, tradeshow activation, direct marketing, advertising and sales collateral.

Departments, processes and agencies that this position manages include:

- Dotted line management of the creative team, which operates as an in-house content development agency

- Digital channel management, which acts as both a project management and account lead between the BA, global content management, commercial operations and the creative team

- Online portal, web-hosting that houses approved materials for field sales to utilize

- Overseas the approval process for all materials distributed both internally and externally

- Digital marketing lead

- Meetings and Tradeshow team

Job Functions:

Acts as new media corporate brand lead and steward within the North America region, ensuring that all materials are within brand guidelines, utilizing the appropriate imagery and tone.
Oversees all product-related content development, for internal and external distribution. Stays current on Getinge product portfolio and its inherent advantages/disadvantages versus the competition.
Acts as the primary digital marketing thought leader within the organization, staying current on industry trends while ensuring that Getinge stays at the forefront in digital, events/congresses, CRM, SEO/SEM and public relations.
Owns the business planning process across digital and innovation channels, ensuring accurate forecasting and spend versus budget. Furthermore, guides the planning and support behind key product launches, ensuring innovative and integrated launch campaigns are created and executed.
Works collaboratively with a diverse team to develop and manage cross-organizational and integrated marketing strategies. Key stakeholders include global content management, Business Areas, commercial operations, regulatory, corporate communications, legal and medical.
Provides direction and monitors progress of team members, driving alignment and collaboration throughout the organization.
Owns the approval process of both internal and external content, driving efficient, timely and appropriate review, editing and approval of materials.
Provides direction for projects with vendors and contractors for the development and production of promotional materials, digital and print advertising, website updates and management and sales and marketing support materials.
In close collaboration with Global Digital Marekting, leads the North American digital strategy and gives new media advice to North American Management Team. This includes internal and external channels towards North American stakeholders.
Responsible for ensuring all internal and external new media are vetted, approved and documented via the appropriate regulatory processes

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Must have exemplary written and presentation skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
Advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 12 years of experience in Digital / Emerging Media Marketing or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Ability to travel overnight up to 10%.
