Position Summary:

Serve as the strategic expert and thought leader in increasing demand for online alcohol sales through innovative digital solutions, platforms, and channels in the 3rd party marketplace. Partner with suppliers & retailers eCommerce teams to address and meet changing consumer needs, wants and shopping patterns. Navigate the three-tier distribution system and create an improved eCommerce experience for retailers and consumers. This person will coordinate with the sales and marketing organization to develop and grow the three-tier eCommerce 3rd party marketplace channel across our markets.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Build out and manage the business plan and strategy roadmap of our 3rd party marketplace eCommerce business.
  • Lead on behalf of the organization all customer and delivery agent relationships for the 3rd party marketplace eCommerce channel.
  • Lead team in conceptualizing, creating and executing supplier and customer engagement initiatives via automated and personalized email marketing programs, push notifications, SMS and in-app messaging.
  • Coordinate with supplier partners to identify opportunities in the 3rd party marketplace eCommerce space and build collaborative solutions to increase revenue.
  • Define KPIs and performance management practices to win the digital shelf.
  • Maintain knowledge of shipping restrictions, state laws and US online alcohol models to meet the everchanging needs of consumers.
  • Serve as the bridge between the technical and the commercial aspects of digital commerce.
  • Create standardized operating procedures and processes for 3rd party marketplace eCommerce customers
  • Work closely with the B2B eCommerce team to ensure consistent messaging and strategies
  • Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Information Technology or related field.
  • 8+ years' eCommerce experience within a consumer goods company
  • 5+ years' leadership or people management experience, including defining organizational needs and developing talent.
  • Experience in beverage distribution specifically alcoholic beverage distribution.
  • Knowledge of the latest eCommerce technologies and trends.
  • Superior written, oral communication and presentation skills with experience communicating effectively with senior management.
  • Ability to effectively manage stakeholder expectations as well as influence others across the organization.
  • Ability to adapt to changing needs and demands of the business.
  • Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and provide thought leadership for adoption when appropriate.
  • Strong analytical skills and data driven thinker.
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge and familiarity with the three-tier distribution system for alcohol distribution.
