The Role

Moderna is seeking a Director, Digital Marketing, to develop and execute digital-first, and fully integrated multichannel customer engagement campaigns to optimize awareness, trial and use of Moderna's vaccines by leveraging customer segmentation, insights and channel affinity in the US. This role will oversee the full product life cycle from pre-launch activities to on-going post-launch marketing while providing measurement and optimization at each stage.

This position will sit in Moderna's Princeton, NJ office.

Here's What You'll Do

  • Lead a digital-first mindset for customer engagement, including strategy and execution, for an effective and efficient promotion across HCP and consumer channels in the US
  • Ensure continuity of systems and tools, working collectively with colleagues in Digital and Operations for one integrated customer view
  • Translate multichannel strategies into tactical plans including all possible touchpoints with consumers (i.e. CRM driven, websites, email, social, print, etc.)
  • Develop and support the "content factory" which will enable multi-channel engagement across all channels.
  • Partner with global marketing, sales leadership, market access, and external agencies/partners, creating positive partnerships that ensure alignment of business needs and objectives
  • Develop KPIs for brand & campaign objectives and collaborate with the commercial operations and systems teams on optimization recommendations
  • Maintain and monitor all aspects of multi-channel plans, including establishing objectives and strategies, developing recommendations, tracking expenditures to ensure budget compliance, negotiation/buying, implementation and optimization
  • Collaborate with legal, medical, regulatory, IT and other business units to ensure the adequate management of contents and tools, respecting internal and external codes of conduct in which regards information sharing

Here's What You'll Need (Minimum Qualifications)
  • 10+ years of experience of marketing experience required
  • Deep digital and multichannel content development, campaign management, and deep social media use
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must have a track record of digital and CRM experience - inclusive of using various channels to drive acquisition, conversion, adherence/loyalty, both in and out of our industry
  • Extensive experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategies and optimize plans

  • MBA or advanced degree in science or healthcare preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate complex organization and foster alignment between stakeholders
  • Superior organizational skills including strong attention to detail and accuracy, the ability to prioritize and organize multiple projects, meet deadlines, problem-solve, analytical abilities and multi-task
  • Proactivity skills with ability to effectively plan for, develop and manage future state departmental needs and key processes based on business needs
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written

  • Demonstrated program ownership and consistent delivery on commitments
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with all levels of the organization
  • Solid management skills with ability to provide clear guidance, direction and feedback
