Summary:
Leads the specialized Oncology Clinical Pathways Program and initiatives using pathways that help support a patient-centered, value-based, cancer care system at Roswell Park; ensures that Clinical Pathways support and enhance the strategic plan of the organization; develops a culture of Implementation Science at the organization to more closely link our investment in research activities with organizational performance requirements, high reliability principles and the understanding and sustainability of improvements in evidence-based practice across the Roswell Park network; builds opportunities for inter-professional collaboration with other organizations and affiliates (i.e. University at Buffalo) for Implementation Science; oversees Clinical Pathways analytics; directs multiple specialized projects related to the Clinical Pathways program at Roswell Park and its affiliates.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience

1. Master's degree in a healthcare-related field and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience in a comprehensive cancer center or complex academic/research medical center including one (1) year experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity; or
2. Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time experience in a comprehensive cancer center or complex academic/research medical center including one (1) year experience in a supervisory, administrative, consultative, managerial or executive capacity.

NOTE:
Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Health Administration other advanced medical certification such as Pharmacist, a minimum 3 years of clinical and/or operations experience in a multidisciplinary oncology specialty environment. OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) is preferred. Additionally, IT/Clinical Informatics familiarity and knowledge is a plus. In addition, the preferred candidate will have

experience with Allscripts, OncoEMR, and / or Clinical Pathways as well as

experience in QOPI and CoC certification standards and maintenance.

In addition, we are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

Experience in quality/performance improvement measurement and evaluation and use of health data. Experience with electronic tools such as Redcap, MS Visio, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, or comparable programs. Experience with audit and chart abstraction procedures Experience with navigating EMRs in general or specifically OncoEMR and Allscripts. The ability to navigate electronic databases. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to appropriately and effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The ability to display a team-oriented and collaborative approach by working with team members of diverse professional backgrounds and career objectives. Extensive knowledge medical terminologies and cancer treatment related terminologies.

Preference will be given to candidates who are comfortable developing or maintaining clinical process flow diagrams, spreadsheets, and data listings, as well as those who can demonstrate experience in more than one of the following: patient care, chart review, and/or databases
