Digital Marketing Specialist - Retention
About the Role
The Digital Marketing Specialist - Retention will be responsible for executing the overall outbound digital marketing communication strategy including email, SMS & app notifications to engage, nurture, drive customer loyalty and support omni-channel messages. They will manage the development and implementation of email, SMS & app campaigns from requirements and brief creation working closely with the brand & creative department, to audience segmentation and scheduling/deployment configuration. As well as executing communication campaigns The Digital Marketing Specialist - Retention will also be responsible for A/B testing & campaign analysis to foster data driven decisions to optimise performance.
• Writing requirement and brief documents for creative & development teams to work from when designing/building assets
• Manage the end to end process to develop email, SMS or app campaigns and execution; brief, copy, creative, development, QAT, Schedule
• Use of SFMC to identify audience segments, create customer journeys and deploy email & SMS campaigns
• Use of predict spring to deploy app campaigns
• Use of attentive to deploy SMS campaigns
• Use of asana to collaborate with other team members and departments
• Weekly, Monthly & Quarterly campaign analysis to foster data driven decisions and adjust plan as required
• Keep up to date with best practices to optimise strategy and communicate expertise to other team members and departments
• Marketing calendar maintenance
• Analyse and test audience segments to optimise performance
• Regular A/B testing cycles
• Strong communication and collaboration with other team members and departments to create effective content and messages to meet overall business goals and individual targets
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM requirements, key regulations such as CCPA/GDPR, ISP monitoring tools and best practices to ensure deliverability
• Drive revenue for site to meet pre-defined targets
About You
• 1-2 years' experience in digital or email marketing role
• Data-driven decision making skills
• Experience in a fast paced ecommerce business
• Experience of campaign analysis and reporting (Experience using GA preferred)
• Strong organizational skills
• BS/BA in Business, Digital Marketing, Marketing or equivalent experience required
