According to BLS, the median annual wage for automotive service technicians and mechanics was $44,050 in May 2020.

The Automotive industry provided jobs to highly educated scientists, engineers, managers, and other professional workers, as well as skilled production workers and unskilled laborers. Every year, an automobile manufacturer has a new line of vehicles. To create those vehicles every year, there is planning that must take place and that can be years prior to the release of a new line of vehicles.
